Rolling over?

Today the sitter reported that Mae rolled over from tummy to back, without any assistance!  We kind of thought that was coming, since I have seen her do it twice before, with assistance, but I'm still surprised if it's true.  It's at least 2 months before the age Libby was when she rolled over for the first time.  Mae is my big strong baby!

2 months old

Mae has spent a little more time awake recently, and is not fussy at all.  But she still mostly eats and sleeps.  She can smile a bit now, and usually does so first thing in the morning when I get up and open the curtains to let the sunshine in.  We are pretty much co-sleeping every night.  Even when I put her in her bassinett fast asleep, she tends to wake up after about an hour and ends up in my bed anyway.  She will sleep a long time in the swing, but alas! The swing motor seems to have failed and so tonight she kept me up quite late.  I understand the manufacturer will send me a new motor, so soon we should have our swing back up and running.

At her doctor visit they say she is 11 pounds, 9.5 oz, and height 23 1/4".

Click here for video of her smiling!

She even smiled at her sister today, and is very tolerant of Libby playing with her, feeding her, helping her swing, etc.

Grandma came to visit this month!
