4 months old

Miss Mae is now 4 months old.  She had her checkup yesterday and she was very active and smiled at the doctor the whole time.  The doctor said she was "a delight" and finally pronounced that seeing Mae was the highlight of his whole day.  The nurse then administered her vaccines, and repeated several times that she found Mae "amazing" because she only let out one mad cry and then cheered up again.  Libby is the same way about her shots.  My girls are brave and don't hold grudges.  For now.  I expect I'll have to resort to bribery when they are old enough to anticipate and fear shots.  But now they are very forgiving.  I scratched Mae's leg the other day, or rather, she kicked my fingernail.  Though I was horrified, she didn't even flinch.

Oct 22 - rolled over from back to tummy for the first time.  She doesn't really like her tummy time, so I'm sure her first thought was "dangit!".  Now she can roll both ways, my big strong Mae Flower.

Oct 31 - First Halloween!
